TVL tuleb haigekassale esitada 60 kalendripäeva jooksul lehele märgitud tööle asumise kuupäevas. Tööandja peab TVL esitama 7 kalendripäeva jooksul pärast isikult TVL saamist.

Puudu jäi veel ,et hüvitis kantakse hüvitise saaja pangaarvele 30 kalendripäeva jooksul pärast nõuetekohaste dokumentide laekumist haigekassale.

Minu praktika on näidanud, et kui viin haiguslehe haigekassasse, siis kusagil 1,5 nädala jooksul kantakse raha üle.Kui asutuse raamatupidamine on korrektne ja asjad õigeaegselt ja õigesti esitatud, ei tohiks probleemi olla.
